Recent Activities
These have included the Overseas Lunch at St Nicholas Church on June 22 and the Wave of Prayer on July 4 when we prayed with our Diocesan links of Canberra and Goulburn, Lake Malawi, Southern Malawi, On the Coast, Kindu, Ezo and Torit.
Other events in July enjoyed by several of our members were a Cream Tea provided by St Mary Cray branch and a coach outing to Losely House, Guildford, organised by St Paul’s Crofton. Our own annual outing, on 14 July, was to Teapot Island, Yalding. After a pottery demonstration and a visit to the teapot museum, we were treated to a tour of Yalding Church and a welcome cup of tea by the local Mothers’ Union branch.
